Real-estate mogul gets media giant Tribune 
Real-estate mogul Sam Zell won the battle of the billionaires Monday, landing media conglomerate Tribune Co. after a down-to-the-wire bidding war.

Protests Over Harlem Real Estate Deal 
In its first foray into the American real estate market, a British corporate giant that is spending more than $200 million for dozens of buildings in Harlem encountered a storm of protest Tuesday — from immigrant tenants in the neighborhood.

ASIA MARKETS: Japan Stocks Lower In Afternoon; Real Estate, Exporters Fall Back 
Asian stocks traded on weaker note Friday, with Japanese stocks reversing earlier gains as investors booked profits on recent advancers such as property group Mitsubishi Estate while export-related shares Toyota Motor Corp. were lower amid a lack of support from foreign buyers over the extended holiday weekend.
